 I’m sure you’ll agree that Sophie has created a really intense and dramatic style with the spikes, layers and the use of blended multiple colours. Here is the lowdown on this brilliant style:

• First, straighten it all through until bang straight (necessary for the spikes)
• Then, spray Vo5 Mega Hold liquid hairspray all over and brush it though
• Put on the bandana
• Take the hair from behind the bandana and then tease up the hair from the roots using a nit comb
• Quickly spray the spikes until they stand firmly on end

Sophie’s advice:

Most people use teasing combs, but I use nit combs as they are much much smaller and make teasing hair a lot quicker and easier. Also, I never use straighteners after using hairspray as it burns the ends of the hair.
