La Riche are a well established company selling a range of semi-permanent hair colourants. Directions hair dye has become VERY popular over the last few years and can now be bought from many alternative clothing and style shops. The main reasons for the products great popularity is the wide range of dramatic colours available and ease at which they can be applied.

Just take a look at these fantastic colours:

Overall there are 34 colours to choose from, which ultimately leads to an endless spectrum of colours as each dye can be mixed with any other to create different shades and brightnesses. So with absolutely no limit to the choice of colour, it’s no wonder so many people use them to create their own individual styles.
Another great feature about this dye is that it comes in a resealable pot so you can use however much you want and then store the rest for a later date. This saves a LOT of money if, like me, you don’t have to use a lot at a time. I use ‘Midnight Blue’ in my fringe. If used carefully, a single pot can last me up to three months! And at £3.99 a time, it’s hardly breaking the bank!
Once the hair is bleached, the dye is simply spread onto damp hair and left for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. For a more vibrant colour, leave the dye on for a shorter period of time although this will mean that you’ll have to recolour it a lot sooner. You will get the most vibrant colour if you bleach your hair drastically (and I mean verging on white). When I managed this, I bleached my hair twice and applied the directions dye for just 10 minutes and I got one of the most vibrant colours I’ve ever seen!
If you haven’t already tried Directions, I hope this has tempted you into trying it out! Express YOUR individuality!

This is an awesome artistic hair design although to maintain it would be a pain and you would have to be careful with having more then one primary colour in your hair because they will run in together. In my opinion i would attempt at maybe one or even two colours and then try another colour or two in clip in extensions.
